Giovanni Insaudo founder of I VESPRI, is a Choreographer, Dancer and Art Maker born in Sicily (Italy) in 1989. At the age of 17 he moved to Spain for his professional dance studies, studying in the prestigious Victor Ullate dance academy and, with a scholarship, at the C.A.D. Centro Andaluz de Danza directed by Blanca Li.

From January 2009 to January 2011, at only 19 years old, he began his career as a professional dancer in the Junior company Dantzaz Konpainia directed by Adriana Pous.

From January 2011 to August 2012 Giovanni worked for the Balletto dell'Esperia Turin, directed by Paolo Mohovich, and dancing on the scenes around the globe.

From 2012 to 2017 he was a solo dancer at the Gaertnerplatz Theater Munich, directed by Karl Alfred Scheirer.

From 2017 to 2020 he was a solo dancer in the Swiss dance company TLT Tanz Luzerner Theater directed by Kathleen McNurney.

In his career Giovanni danced and contributed to the creation of works by appointed Choreographers such: William Forsythe, Jacopo Godani, Johan Inger, Marco Goecke, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Alexander Ekman, Emanuel Gat, Marcos Morau, Karl Alfred Schreiner, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Itzik Galili, Jo Stromgren, Cayetano Soto, Georg Reischl, Edward Clug, Fernando Hernando Magadan, Roberto Zappalà, Anthony Rizzi, Marguerite Donlon, Ella Rothschild, Caroline Finn etc...

Giovanni started choreographing from a young age and he has created works for dance companies and several festivals in Germany, Italiy, Spain, Switzerland etc.

Giovanni recieved the 3rd prize and production award at the 12th Copenhagen International Choreography Competition and the 2nd prize and invitations to several dance festivals at the 18th Certamen Internacional de Coreografia Burgos-New York.

Sandra Salietti Aguilera, co-founder of I VESPRI, is a Dancer and Choreography Assistant born in Barcelona in 1991. Her first contact with dance takes place in the Estudio Isadora school, which will prepare her to enter the Professional Dance Conservatory of Barcelona at the age of 12.


She graduated at 17, and in the same year she joined the Cannes Jeune Ballet of Rosella Hightower.


At only 18 years old, Sandra received an employment contract from the famous French institution Ballet National de Marseille, under the artistic direction of Frédéric Flamand, and danced works by Choreographic masters such as Frédéric Flamand himself, William Forsythe, Emanuel Gat and Lucinda Childs.


Two years later she joined, as solo dancer, Gaertnerplatz Theater directed by Karl Alfred Schreiner. For five years she has the good fortune to dance Choreographies by eclectic artists and often receiving main roles such as Aurora in SLEEPING BEAUTY and Eva in BERLIN/1920 by Schreiner, Wendy in PETER PAN by Emanuele Soavi and prominent roles in Choreographies by Edwar Clug, Marco Goecke, Mauro Astolfi, Alexander Ekman, Jo Stromgren, Jacopo Godani, William Forsythe, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Marguerite Donlon, Annabelle Ochoa, Christopher Roman etc.


In 2017 she joined, as a solo dancer, Tanz Luzerner Theater, directed by Kathleen McNurney. Here Sandra will dance for 3 seasons, under illustrious creators who will again offer prominent roles such as Marcos Morau, Cayetano Soto, Georg Reischl, Johan Inger, Fernando Hernando Magadan, Gustavo Ramirez Cansano, Caroline Finn, Ella Rothschild etc.


With the work ORFEO ED EURIDICE by Marcos Morau, Sandra excels on stage to the point of being nominated by the famous German magazine Tanz Magazine as Dancer of the Year and re-nominated by the Swiss Free Scene for her performance in VARIATIONEN DES SEINS by Georg Reischl.


In her last three years in Switzerland, Sandra begins a clearer artistic collaboration with her partner and Choreographer Giovanni Insaudo.

With the role of Assistant and Collaborator, they will create their own brand I VESPRI. From their work, Sandra will win the Outstanding Performer award at the 12th Copenhagen International Choreography Competition.
